As stated in our Mission Statement, “We will ensure the home remodeling/building/renovation experience is joyful, easy, and rewarding.” LivingScape takes all the steps necessary to ensure your project flows seamlessly for you. We manage the entire process including design, demolition, surveys, permits, and all aspects of construction. We take a proactive, team-based approach towards managing your building or renovating project.
LivingScape will work with you to determine what your lifestyle goals are, as well as your current lifestyle habits. We’ll determine your ideas, your personal style preferences and tastes, and your timing requirements. Then in concert with your remodeling budget guidelines, we’ll offer expert suggestions and ideas and get them down on paper for you, and will engage our Interior Design team if applicable. From there, we can create conceptual drawings and budgetary cost projections until we arrive at a final plan and estimate. For more complex home renovation projects, we’ll engage an Architect or Designer, or we’ll work with yours.
Once the budget, plans, and specifications are in place, the next thing we do is prepare a remodeling project plan where we determine what, where, and how each phase of the project will be executed. To avoid delays we align the necessary teams of talented craftsmen, and pre-schedule them so they are available when needed, and we order any “non-stocked” products or materials to have them on site when required. As well, at this point we secure any necessary permits or approvals required for your home renovation project.
This is where the rubber meets the road, and you’ll start to see our expert trades people in action. At this point, LivingScape executes the home renovation plan by synchronizing the necessary teams of  labour,
coordinating and scheduling their work, and managing and overseeing
the workflow. Throughout the
process we’ll be in frequent communication with you. We’ll
supply progress reports, ensure that the workmanship and materials
are within the parameters of the plans, and address any questions
or concerns you may have.
The second part of the remodeling construction step is always exciting. This is where your home renovation project really starts to take shape, and you can begin to visualize the finished product! You’ll start to see the final details that create a stylish, comfortable living environment. Crown mouldings, baseboard, trim work, colours, floor treatments, fixtures and accessories.
This is the most rewarding part of going through a building or home renovation project. At this point, all the subtle details you worked on with our Interior Design staff will come to life, and provide you with the lifestyle you set out to achieve. The finer accoutrements you may have selected such as the furnishings and accessories, window coverings, artwork, table settings, and even linens and bedding are set in place to truly provide a complete “lifestyle package”. We take a creative, artistic approach towards developing a space that meets your needs and desires, and is a reflection of your individual style.
